in denial
intercepted
by one lie
one cheat
acceptance
defeat
let it go
hold it in
find the answer
hide the pen
bend the truth
with picket fenced white lies
watch mistakes
hear lowly cries
deja vu
its up to you
to change direction
see the truth
its perception” —L
Maya Angelou once said “There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.” I love the quote because it is so true. You carry that truth for so long that you forget what it feels like to not be weighed down. Some people hide behind a smile, others act out and some just go into a hole. However you cope is up to you but once you relieve yourself of the weight that has been on your shoulders it will feel like you are lighter than air. If you choose to tell your story or not is up to you but don’t forget you can’t grow if there no room left. So the question is how much room is your truth taking up? kk bye :).
I’d respect you more if you didn’t look for problems
this isn’t math class
i’d respect you more if you didn’t start drama
you aren’t on broadway
i’d respect you more if you were real
too bad i’m stuck in a world of fakebelieve
i’d respect you more
but i don’t have the energy to try
stop hating the world and change the world.
Life is more than just a four letter word that ends in death. It is the joy you feel waking up on the first day of spring, it is the sadness you feel when you lose someone close to you, its the little moments that make you smile with content at the fact that you are lucky to be alive. Most people spend their lives dwelling on the bad moments. Spend less time waiting for the bad or looking for the good and just live. So much of people’s lives are wasted on waiting for the right moment but what they don’t realize is that you have to make your own moments. Take it easy kid and just live, it’s that simple.
Of things unknown but longed for” —Maya Angelou-I know why the caged bird sings
so music is a huge part of my life and when i was a kid i always knew i wanted to do something with it whether it was dance or singing or just making it. I’ve done all and i find it crazy how now that i’m not a kid anymore my aspirations have changed. I still love music wholeheartedly but now idk i just decided to do what everyone else said i should do and not what i loved. Now i think people think that believing in their childhood dreams is not realistic because as a child we are told that we don’t know what we want or what is good enough for us, but i think if more people did what they loved they’d be happier. It’s sad seeing adults stuck doing jobs that they hate and instead of changing things they sit there and gripe about it and take it out on everyone else around them. I think that it’s not a job if you are doing what you love. Money is important but it is not everything. So my advice for the day is to make sure you are doing what you love and if you aren’t just remember it’s never too late to change.
time is a force that can push you to the edge
you can kill it but it will never end
it may seem to drag on or fly by
but it is always moving at the same pace
you may feel the need to speed up to keep up
but you don’t
the world may change but it will always remain.
don’t blame it for your mistakes
just take the time to learn from them
in this life your time will end
so its on you to decide how and with whom you want to spend it
choose wisely ;)
